How To Set Up Gemini Gems & Add Prompts
A quick guide to how to create a Gemini Gem and use our prompts. Remember a prompt is simply a better way of telling the AI what you want it to do.
Go to gemini.google.com and access the Gems Manager. On the left side of the screen, click "Explore Gems" OR click on "Gem manager" at the bottom of the left panel.
Click the "+New Gem" button. You'll then see a screen with two main sections: On the left side there is a space for you to add your Gem's name and instructions - and the on the right side there is a preview area where you can test your Gem.
Enter the name for your Gem at the top. Then fill out the description.
In the large "Instructions" text box, copy and paste your purchased prompt instructions
Upload Your Knowledge Documents (If Available). Go to the knowledge section at the bottom of the page and click "Add files" or the "+" icon. Choose how to upload: Either select "Upload files" to choose files from your computer or select "Drive" to choose files from your Google Drive.
